Generating Refactoring Proposals to Remove Clones from Automated System Tests Considering Reuse Capabilities Using the Example of Ranorex

In this work, an approach for automatic creation of clone refactoring proposals in automated system tests with respect to the available reuse capabilities of the underlying automation framework is provided. The approach is based on [HJW15]. The contribution of this work is the consideration of the reuse capabilities provided by the automation framework and taking them into account by proposing only feasible refactoring alternatives.
